Fun trail that usually has at least a narrow smooth line, though rocky sections are occasionally mandatory. Machine build ST a little on the wider end of things. Fast and flowing with lots of turns and relatively few rocks. Great place to practice turns, rollers, and short steep ups and downs. Plenty of fun natural features to play on if you know what to look for.

Trail stewards/bike patrols are working on clearing the loose rock, re-planting cactus, etc. If you see someone removing branches/rocks from a trail cut, please tell them to stop. It's a waste of our volunteer time to have to go back and replace the branches/rocks. We could better spend our time improving the trails if we did not have to clean up after them.

I have only been riding a few months after not having a bike for about 15 years. Def get some miles under your belt first, this was challenging. I am not sure if either my gps, or trail forks is wrong, but each direction was measuring a 742 foot climb, not 424 foot. Total distance also came out to 13.1, not 12.1 miles. Good ride none the less. If I had to rate it, just for the climb really at the end, it's more intermediate/difficult.

In general, it is a lot of easy flowy sections, with the occasional dip down/up through a wash, and a really big hill on the west end (definitely basic rolling over rocks tech skills required to clean it whether climbing or descending). Can easily stop and walk any of it, but probably need to have a few miles under the belt to clean the whole trail either direction.

We hope you've been enjoying Trailforks!
