This route is the best singletrack beginner option in the Bar M system. Utilizing the Gas Line Trail out of the south end of the trailhead gives beginners a good warm up prior to getting onto the narrower singletrack on Rusty Spur.
After Rusty Spur, turn left onto the paved pathway, then at the large 3-sided kiosk, turn right onto the Bar M Loop Road and continue for 0.3 mile.
* The Bar M Loop Road offers a much longer option for beginners and is well signed but is primarily on double track road with sandstone sections.
After 0.3 mile on the Bar M Loop Road, Turn left onto the Lazy trail and ride this back to the trailhead.
