Not a green. Various roots and rocks. Overgrown. Not a difficult grade overall but very narrow and some tough short ups in places. Jones Ranch is way easier and smoother.

Another great alpine trail that sadly does not see enough use to keep overgrowth at bay. This would an excellent backcountry trail if it saw some trail love. A little love this trail could be a 5 star ride.

Rode this bad boy, lots of overgrowth and absolutely stunning! Maybe 1 down tree, soft and dusty but so good!

Trail Jones Ranch
Great trail, I rode up it and it was a nice mellow grade. Dry conditions for the most part, but several stream/spring crossings

We started the trail at a spot where it wasn’t clear this trail is closed. Despite that the trail hasn’t been kept up since it’s closure, it’s a gorgeous trail with great views and varying terrain. There are several stream crossings and a few steep ups and downs but all rideable.

This is a beautiful trail with amazing views! There is significant fire damage in the area. After the fact, we realized some sections of the trail are closed.

This has become one of my favorite trails in the area (along with Jones Ranch). If you are going from the northeast to the southwest, there is one short steep hill under tree cover that is a blast to climb--the challenge is to not lose traction and make it all the way up without your legs falling off. I met some guys on downhill bikes there one day, so I guess it's fun to rip down too, but it isn't very long. See how fast you can climb it (or if you can climb it).

This trail lives up to its name: ROCK Spring. There are several steep rock gardens, baby head, loose rock sections on the trail. If you are experienced, it's doable downhill, but uphill is very challenging--it will likely be walk-a-bike. Luckily, these sections are fairly short and the rest of the trail is in good shape and although still rocky at times, more manageable.

Super overgrown. Should just be a horse trail. Hard to even see trail in spots. Blown out and deep dust in others. Hike a bike in spots. I wouldn’t recommend this section. Other sections were good.

Really fun downhill. The end going downhill could be nerve raking for a really cautious rider but overall very fun!

As a newbie this trail is a pain in the butt. So rocky it’s hard to navigate. A more experienced rider probably would be ok, but my nerves were shot on this part of my ride today.

Trail is currently closed due to excessive debris from the fire in 2018.

CAUTION: When going down from the highway, less than a quarter mile down the double track you need to turn left off the dirt road onto a single track. Otherwise, you will be on private property. The only marker says "097".

This is an easy section starting at the gate off the Nebo Loop road. We rode and connected to the Rock Springs trail. It would be easier staring at the Rock Springs trail head and go back towards Frank Young. Some of the uphill bouldering was pretty difficult to maneuver. It would be better to go the other direction.

This is a beautiful ride. I recommend starting here west and heading east, and carrying on all the way to the end Bernie creek if you want more down hill. That will give you a good day of near ten miles of mostly DH.

Rode this june 10th. No snow. It was a little over grown and couple of wet spots but was still an awesome ride. Beautiful right now. Very fun to ride this. Finish up with Bernie creek for a fuller ride.

Trail is pretty fun when it's been ridden/groomed, no downed trees or mud. The views alone are worth it.

I rode this on June 2, 2016. The trail is pretty torn up from cattle and horses. Lots of dead trees in the trail.

I rode this on June 3 and it was super post-holed and there were many deadfalls in the trail making it really hard to get in a rhythm. Some really boggy areas still. About 3 weeks from being good again.
