Ok, I'm going to go a bit farther than the last few reports and just call this closed from the Beaver Damn intersection. I mean, you could take a hike, I suppose, but it's not worth taking a bike right now, especially with so much other fun stuff to ride nearby. From the Blackhawk Campground Parking area (which is technically closed, I learned after riding the singletrack section) to the cattle gate, things are fine. But don't go past that unless you want to HAB back up. As per a previous report, the rest of the Blackhawk trail and Beaver Dam are unrideable. Downed trees, no trail, or purposely blocked trail. There is a sign as closed road to the campground that no one is supposed to be back there, but none of the feeder trails into the area are marked as closed. Rider beware! | Dry | view | |||

It is not maintained at all. There are several trees that have fallen from the fire that burned up there several years ago. Some places the trail is not even recognizable or found. Motorcycles and horses that have disregarded trail etiquette have totally destroyed several sections. Huge ruts and hoof holes. Remember, if it's sticking to your hooves, heels or wheels, it's too muddy to ride and you need to turn back. | Wet | view | |||
