This is a great way to ride Hall Ranch leaving from right in Lyons. No parking hassles. No gnarly technical climbing. And you finish off right next to Oscar Blues and other restaurants! The way this route is laid out, you still have a black diamond downhill. But, it's super easy to see the lines, easy to dismount if you are sketched out, and BONUS there are probably a lot of people around to carry your mangled body to ER if you need it.

Here is the route:
- Head out of town going north on HWY 36 (at the west end of town turn right)
- Take a left about 1/4 mile down the road onto Apple Valley Rd. This is your warmup
- Left onto Antelope Rd after about a mile - this is your miserable road section (for about 200 ft)
- Get onto Antelope trail (laughing at the cars circling for the 6 parking spots)
- Go go go!
- Turn right onto Bitterbrush trail
- At the Nelson Loop do one lap each way. Most people love going clockwise and if it's a busy day, just do two laps that way. But the counter-clockwise loop is a lot of fun too if you want to do a couple of rock jumps.
- Back down Bitterbrush
- BUT turn right at the intersection to head to LOWER BITTERBRUSH instead of heading down Antelope
- There is a short climbing section on lower Bitterbrush followed by the famous rock garden. Look for lines that match your skill level
- When this trail ends work your way out to Hwy 7 and turn left
- Follow this back into town
- Burgers and suds my friend. Burgers and suds!
