A loop that starts in town and heads west on Hwy 160 to Lightner Creek Road. The route heads North to the Dry Fork trailhead and proceeds up the Dry Fork trail. When the rider reaches the Junction Creek segment of the Colorado Trail, turn left and it heads overland, down some switchbacks, and back towards town. Follow CR204 back to Junction Street and into town.
Detailed Description
Dry Fork Loop from Durango is a 26 mile moderately popular expert route located near Durango Colorado. This mountain bike only route can be used one direction and has a hard overall physical rating. This route includes 4 trails. This route climbs 2,400 ft with a max elevation of 8,646 ft then descends -2,384 ft.
