Elk Creek Trail frequently has deadfall. Check with local shops for current trail status.

Hogan Loop is a mellow loop near Chief Joseph Pass and the CDT along the camas prairie of the historic Nez Perce Trail. A mix of forest road and classic single track. Ride the loop either direction; some riders like the long gentle climb of Elk w/ the quick Hogan descent, others like to suffer up Hogan for the long descent of Elk.

If descending Hogan Creek Trail, be careful on the frequent log waterbars.
