Drops will stay closed for a few days while fresh work beds in and until the forecast rain has dried up. Please respect the trackies' hard work and look forward to revitalised yiew-tiful riding mid next week.
Not Drops (Pitfall) is still open so there's a ride around.

Track is now open again. Next Level MTB have done a great job giving it a touch up. The hip and lip before the road gap have been built up reshaped, and the bottom berm has been adjusted to improve the entry line and allow better use of the full face of the berm. Buy them a beer if you see them over Christmas. Idealview

Upper section of Drops is still closed. Poaching over the weekend and especially after the rain on Monday has caused Next Level MTB to spend a heap more time and money fixing the damage caused by premature riding. Eg 4 hours on one single berm. 4 fines of $271.50 have just been issued for contravening no access signs at Upper Luge. Same applies on Drops and anywhere else with a Closed sign. The top section (in the fire break) of Drops is closed for maintenance, as Next Level MTB will be giving the jumps and berms a bit of a touch up. Works will take a couple of weeks.

PLEASE KEEP OFF DURING THIS TIME, RIDING WILL DAMAGE THE FRESH TRAIL WORK.

Access to the lower section (in the trees) will be available via Pitfall Track.		 Variableview

Large tree down across trail in first 100 metres, blocking trail. Poor line of sight approaching so be careful on the first section of track.
The rest of the trail is quite rocky and rooty but running ok. Bottom section near the last jump is a bit muddy.		 Variableview
