Microclimate achieved notoriety when it was featured in the World Enduro Series event in Whistler back in 2014, the trail, built through a beautiful mature forest, is steep, rough and awesome. The climb up is quite challenging on steep gravel access roads on Blackcomb mountain, in the summer heat it can be a killer. A variation or a great second lap (with slightly less climbing) is to ride Hey Bud, which has recently been re-worked and is arguably slightly easier than Microclimate if you follow the new routing.

Just stay off until there’s significant drying. Extremely wet and the mud is peeling off. To ride it now is to not enjoy it in the future.
