Steep and rooty, steeps often have multiple line choices. Super fun challenge in the dry but enough of a snake pit of roots in many sections that in the wet would be a no go for me

Ride Dark Crystal before you do Hey Bud. I did both with my kids and Hey Bud was more challenging for them. Dark Crystal was amazing.

There’s 2 trees down on the new lower section. It’s probably 2ft in diameter so too big for my karate chop. The trial is otherwise snow free!

Awesome trail. Canadian Single black for sure. Much better than Microclimate

Tree down about halfway down the trail. Need someone with a saw to cut it up

Tree down just after new section starts, couldnt move on my own, otherwise riding primo!

I agree with the above commenters about the difficulty. Please remember that difficulty ratings are relative to the region. Hey Bud has ride arounds for the senders (rock, creek gap) and the remaining steep chutes are easier than, say, the ones found on Crazy Train next door to it.

Good Trail but I have to agree with the other guy here in my opinion it's a hard Single Black not Double Black good fun though!

This is a single black diamond, not a double black!! Especially the new variation. Go hit Gargamel or Upper PHD if you want a real double black.
