Run in 2014 & 2015, the Killikaze took in a greater majority of the Killingworth trail network and saw the tracks cleaned up ready for this major event, run by Rocky Trail Entertainment and Synergy Trails.

While the event did not continue into 2016, the route still remains one of the best to use at Killingworth with the majority of the trails in good condition.

Detailed Description
The Killikaze is a 6 mile intermediate race route located near Newcastle. This mountain bike only route can be used one direction and has a moderate overall physical rating. This route includes 18 trails. This route climbs 473 ft with a max elevation of 388 ft then descends -482 ft.
