Start with the up section of "Shack track",Up the new alignment on Highway to Hill. Turn Right onto Purplexed,. Head up "Hurley Burley/Shark Attack" (past the shortcut bail-out point) onto the steep climb of "Reo". Have a break then get stuck into the awesome descent of "Kokoda/Auburn/T3" cross the bridge on "Willow tree road" again and return via "Lello's Link" in reverse and the down section of "Shack track"

Yack Purple Loop is a 11 mile popular intermediate route located near Yackandandah. This mountain bike only route. This route includes 10 trails. This route climbs 1,256 ft with a max elevation of 1,890 ft then descends -1,258 ft.

    		The Auburn ‘river’ was flowing well today with two long areas (both about 150m), where the hillside drainage hits the track and then flows along it instead of crossing it. This was the first time that I have seen this amount of flowing water in the ‘S’ loops area, as usually the problem area is the straighter section beyond the ‘S’, that’s closer to town as per last report of 5th of July. ~> yet more drainage works required …. :-(
