This "trail" is a road climb to take you to a popular trail. The grade is fairly gradual with occasional places to stop if you need to. The road is very easy to follow. One should take care because of the exposure off of the road, however the road is fairly wide and provides plenty of room to ride side by side with your riding partner. It is approximately 2 miles to the summit of the road. If you are shuttling, then the start of this trail is as far as you can go to avoid the first 2 miles of climbing on NF-7400.
The views of the surrounding peaks are stunning.
Park at the signage off of NF 7400. Take NF-7400 for roughly two miles until the start of this trail.
