A nice ride around Crimson Lake that can be finished off with a swim in the lake at one of Alberta's best beaches. Many outhouses, benches and shelters are available along the way to take a break. Also present are interpretive signs that explain the local ecology and its importance. In the winter this trail and others nearby are groomed for multi-use including fat biking.

Some large wet areas on the north side of the trail near the lake. The trail underneath is hard pack so was able to ride right thru slowly no problem.

You can go FAST on this trail - great workout - I used to love just doing a single lap each day when i would visit my folks at Wilderness Village RV resort nearby. mostly flat with a short hilly section. Super fun if you like to keep up the speed.

just watch out for walkers on those blind corners...

triple track heavy gravel trail around the lake. great for a family outing. closest thing to a paved trail around the lake. few park benches around it and a couple pit toilets.
