Trail climbs from Herb Martyr Campground up to the Basin Trail. It's a short climb and a pretty nice one but a bit on the steep side. Lower part is rocky then it transitions to dirt under forest canopy as you climb higher.

Trail is in good shape. No issues. It's a tough little climb but worth it to access the Basin Trail.
