The MTB Loop is a 11.5km purpose built mountain bike loop on the north side of the Ashburton River. It is used as a race track by the local club and also hosts a 6 hour race annually.

Access Info

The best place to start the loop is at the Skills Park off Dobson Street West. There is signage to guide you along the one-way loop and tell you which section you are riding. You can also enter the track from the ends of Melrose Road, Chalmers Ave and Trevor's Road.
