This is a tough climb or a fast technical descent. The theme of this trail is very rocky. The top two miles traverse a constant supply of rocks with lots of twists and turns and a few small (6-8") ledges. As you start to see more dirt and leave the rocks behind, it will get a little steeper downhill prior to meeting up with Lower Sugar Loaf.
