This is a tough climb or a fast technical descent. The theme of this trail is very rocky. The top two miles traverse a constant supply of rocks with lots of twists and turns and a few small (6-8") ledges. As you start to see more dirt and leave the rocks behind, it will get a little steeper downhill prior to meeting up with Lower Sugar Loaf.

Super fun downhill. Wouldn’t recommend uphill unless you like pain.

Easy to follow other than one spot (if climbing), near old fence.

Super fun downhill. Pretty rocky and technical. Would be tough uphill.
