This upper section of the Backside trail is much flatter than the lower half, and features expansive views of the Arkansas River Valley. The upper terminus connects to a saddle just below the start of Pano, another foot-traffic-only trail the ends at a panoramic overlook.
PLEASE STAY ON TRAIL. There are rare and sensitive plants in this area.
