Rusty Lung is a newer addition to the Arkansas Hills Trail System (S Mtn). The upper section (0.9mile) was completed in September 2017, a lower section (0.6mile) was finished in November 2018.

      Ride it either way, steady climb, fun decent. Some optional pops, a bit of chunk, some blind corners that can sneak up on you at speed. Close to town so expect hikers and use a bell and good trail etiquette. 👀👆

      This map is incorrect as far as the starting and finishing points on this trail, they should be swapped. This is a trail with berms and jumps going downhill yet people think they have right of way to climb it. Please do not climb this trail. If you do, please be aware that people are going to be descending it fast and it is easier and safer for the uphill rider to stop and move.
