Baslägerstigen (Basecamp Trail) takes you from the campfire located on the southwest side of Stentjärn (Stone Pond) to "The Basecamp" which houses two shelters from weather and wind.
It is a narrow, twisty, hard to follow, highly technical and primitive wilderness trail not really suited for cycling but it offers quite a challenge if you do decide to ride it.
- It does feature a very demanding rock face just before you reach the shelters which offers no forgiveness to any rider not picking his exit line very precisely.
- It also features a lot of low hanging branches from spruce trees that will constantly hit you in the face.
- And there's a few tiny streams to cross.
You can reach it from the campfire that sits along the gravel path from Skärsjölundsvägen to and around Mölnesjön.
This trail is unsanctioned.
This trail is SLOW and very technical.
