Moderately difficult climb up an old 2track jeep road (Blacktail Access) leads to a nice, smooth single track loop that can be ridden either direction and connects to the Archery Range descent and to Blacktail Ridge Trail that links to the Beaver Ponds trail and the CDT between Pipestone Pass and Homestake Pass. Excellent riding for fat bikes thanks to all the snowshoers who keep the trail packed most of the winter.
