This trail is permitted for hiking, biking and equestrians; however, posted signs state that equestrians are not recommended. It is a narrow singletrack, dirt trail that can be ridden in either direction. It is popular for cyclists and trail runners. It's a popular, sporty track with occasional loose stones scattered here and there - not terrible. No serious obstacles or challenges here: a few sharp turns, a couple very simple plank bridges and one larger wooden bridge with rails built on the track. The keen observer may find a sneaky side hit to spice things up on a rowdy descent. Climbing isn't bad - the grade is mellow enough that most riders will find it within their fitness level.

      It would be fun if there weren’t so many people climbing it. Downhills like this should totally have a one way loop.

      Best way to get to the top if you’re parked near Dinosaur Ridge. Very loose rocks at points, which make it feel like you’re swimming uphill.

      Box O Rox is loose cobble on the top 1/3, OK singletrack on the middle 1/3, and fun/unique flow on the bottom 1/3, which is technically a different trail called Box O' Rox Extension.       Box O' Rox is definitely not a downhill-only trail. It's one of the best up Green Mountain because it's not too steep so you don't have to max your HR to get up it. However, the extension isn't worth going uphill because it's just a detour, and you're going to ruin other riders DH, although it's technically allowed.
