I did this trail reverse of the recommended direction for reasons, and I don’t recommend it, though it’s not the worst. However, just finding the trail coming from that direction, the north part from the parking lot/campground/road, is surprisingly challenging. No sign. Really nothing to indicate a trail . Only Trailforks and GPS to find your way. Then it looks like some trail a kid made. Eventually it turns into a legitimate, regular trail. The trail is more of a chore in the reverse direction—probably fun the intended way (south to north, as noted on Trailforks). Feels very remote.
