Because the trail incorporates strip-mining spoils, there's really nothing else like this (except maybe Saw Wee See in IL which is also a former mine). The first, lower part of the trail is a bucking bronco with all of these little hills. Then there's a tough climb and you have to get aligned right after a turn so you can get over a skinny on the uphill. Once the climbing is done, there's some way fun descending. Oh, and that qualifier A-frame skinny at the beginning actually has a different angle on the up than the down. It is so not a straight line!

Not gonna lie... I hate climbs... so some of this trail and I do NOT get along. But the rest is worth the climb! Well, ALL the climbs. This is a GREAT workout trail...
