Casey Peak Trail 374 is an out-and-back spur trail leading to Casey Peak. The majority of the trail is steep, rocky, hike-a-bike, but the reward is a tremendous view and a rowdy descent.

Not sure why it has "This trail is Unsanctioned, Ride at your own Risk!" trail is on USFS maps and they have trail signs up. Good chunky fun with nice views.

That status was applied to the Elkhorns region, which originally included a lot of nonsystem trails in the Montana City area. You're right; this is a system trail so that was removed.

This trail is no joke. Hike a bike applies to both up and down unless you are a pro downhill rider and have a full face and body armor. Or don’t mind your bike being in multiple pieces. That being said the bottom part of the trail is a fun descent.
