From the junction with Coal Knob, Cornplanter is a fast and flowy descent until the junction with FR610. After this it is a gentle climb to Three Sisters. This trail makes a good combination with Blacksnake or Devil's Drop using the short connector trail between Cornplanter and Seneca.
Cornplanter is also often used as a climbing trail for trail users coming from the Vulpes / Longhouse / Dew Drop trails.

This trail features some small berms, a few wood bridges, and some rock rolls.
