A less intense way of getting to the Reservoir. Whether just wanting to get some climbing in to do an Upper Mice loop or not wanting to drive all the way to the Reservoir, climbing up this 2-track will take the edge off of going up Sidewinder.
Park your vehicle (unless you've climbed from Sidewinder via Cows End). Cross the stream and head up the 2-track. There will be lots of off-shoots from quads/trucks/game but just stick to the 2-track. It will get blown out in spots but eventually it will pop you out where Sidewinder crosses, at this point you will come up to an intersection. Hang left to get to the Reservoir.

|reporter Sled traffic has made it very easy to move around. Slippery for climbing I imagine, but for hiking down was manageable.|
