The first half of the trail (on the south side) is just awesome. Reminds me of an easier version of High Plum (a double black trail in Warren) with some great technical undulations up and down and scary exposure (small section). I think what is best about this first half of the trail is how well it rides in both directions. I know the sign says it's not recommended to go back up it but I think if it wasn't so leafy the opposite direction would have been 95% doable. It's that tech-filled up and down undulation that makes it special to me. Maybe rogue one part 2 in the opposite direction is similar but I don't feel like riding those switchbacks downhill would be that interesting. Frankly if you can ride of all of rogue one part 2 I think you can go up this one too.
The second half of the trail (north section) should almost be listed as a different trail. It's just a simple double track from what I can remember. Would be nice to spice that one up somehow.
