Intermediate, bi-directional singletrack that provides a direct link between the Oak Flat and Pine Flat picnic areas. The southern part of the trail is slightly steeper and rockier while the northern portion of the trail is smoother and of lesser gradient. At roughly the halfway point of the trail you will reach an intersection for Southern Crossing, which is currently the only direct singletrack link to the Otero area trails. Overall this trail provides either a moderate climb heading southbound or a fast flowing descent heading northbound. NOTE: Motorcycles and e-bikes are allowed per Sandia Ranger District MVUM.
Park at either Pine Flat Picnic Area or Oak Flat Picnic Area
