The track is closing over as the pines, planted about 2010, get bigger. First section is downhill and while it is labeled grade 4 there are only a few roots and tricky corners to negotiate. Climbs back to the start at the top of Ground Effect Grinder / Kinda Grinder or you can exit across the road onto Mr and Mrs or continue onto Waipouwerawera. Park map no 41.

      Corners w little hops spaced w long traverse sections- nice forest trail relief from the clear cut.

      Ridden today, track is a Grade 3 with some challenges, again suited to a fit intermediate rider, some slippery spots but it is mid winter so was in quite good condition.
