This is a rarely ridden trail that bypasses the more interesting features on Lower East Side trail but offers a route from the bottom of West Side Trail and Pipeline to Rusty Bucket sign board and Ripple, or out Cardiac Bypass to Highway 2.

Note that part of Diversion is on a double track that, if stayed on, will take you into the backyard of a private residence. Please obey the no trespassing signs and turn left back onto the singletrack into the woods rather than bombing down the double track into someone's backyard

Access Info

No real reason to ride this trail unless you're in a hurry to get back to Dover from West Side Trail, the bottom of which Diversion starts from.
