Dixie Summit is a short but strenuous trail taking the hiker from the Dixie Mountain Trail to the summit of Dixie Mountain at 1,255 ft. There are many switchbacks and the terrain can be pretty loose when dry. It is worth the short out and back detour to the summit for the views over the area and wider Phoenix.
