Doudy Draw climbs from the trailhead as a wide crushed gravel path up to the Community Ditch intersection, then becomes more narrow, steep and rocky after the bridge. It climbs fairly steeply at times to the Springbrook Connector, then drops down to the creek. After the second bridge, the trail is quite steep up the hillside to the Flatirons Vista area. The trail is rated blue both for climbing and rocky, technical features.
