      Rode 8 April 2022. I would now consider this trail overgrown, as there are 5-6 parts where the tall grasses (which can be nettle, thistle, poison oak) whip your legs. When I finished the quick circuit, a tick-check yielded two ticks crawling on my lower legs.

      Not overgrown. No ticks, no nettle, and a very nice ride. Moderately technical climb out of the canyon going west-to-east.

      I recommend doing Baldwin Loop counter-clockwise, then doing Eagle Cutoff, and then riding BACK UP Baldwin. Lower Baldwin is, and always has been, overgrown tick hell and not worth it.
