Der Engländer Trail startet an der Steigkoppe (502m), dem höchsten "Berg" im LA-Trail-Gebiet. Er verläuft Talabwärts über drei Trail-Abschnitte bis zum Gebiet des „Rotborn“ in Richtung Laufach. Der Trail wechselt talwärts den Charakter sowie die fahrtechnischen Anforderungen. Die drei Abschnitte sind aufgrund der Gelände-Topografie anspruchsvoller „Rot“ ausgewiesen.

Engländer „Rot“ (Abschnitt 1-3):
Die Abschnitte bieten weniger Umfahrungsmöglichkeiten, nutzen das Gelände bestmöglich aus und erfordern somit ein höheres Maß an Fahrfertigkeiten. Im Zweifelsfall erst schauen - dann fahren oder schieben.

Neben der „Rot“ ausgewiesenen Hauptlinie gibt es Varianten / Abzweigungen mit erhöhter Schwierigkeit „Schwarz“. Diese beinhalten „Obstacles“ wie Steilabfahrten, Sprünge und Kanten, welche nicht abrollbar sind. Diese Varianten sind nur etwas für sehr erfahrene Mountainbiker*innen und erfordern volle Konzentration.
