This is an extremely popular hiking and snowshoe trail. No bikes (of any sort) or horses on this trail. The north half of the loop follows a forested valley, while the south half travels along a fairly open ridge, with many opportunities for views. Where the ridge and valley sections meet, there is a short link to Bobcat, which allows you to extend your hike as far as you wish.
