Galena View Loop is a 1 mile long beginner loop. It is recommended that bikers ride it clockwise. For the best hiking experience we recommend hikers use the northeast half of the loop as it offers better views, fewer bikers and less highway noise. Hikers often use Galena View Loop to access Senate Meadows Loop and Pioneer Cemetery Loop.
Like all of the singletrack trails at Galena, the Galena View Loop Trail is open to two-way traffic and shared use by hikers, horseback riders, runners, and bicyclists. Watch for and yield to others - on this and all trails. All Galena singletrack trails are closed to E-Bikes.
Access from the lodge by taking the trail behind the flagpoles or the bench-cut road above the lawn. Access from Senate Meadows Loop by taking the Senate Connector.
The trail is machine-built with wide tread and few obstacles.
