An easier and more technical alternative to Recycle to finish your ride on, and also the better of the two to ride on a wet day. Watch out for hikers climbing up as this has become a popular way to cut the switchback.

Access Info

From the yellow gate you keep going up then turn to spur 1, then keep going until you see a trail entrance, its the first trail entrance you will see. in case you missed it its right beside the woodland walk trail

This trail is unsanctioned.

Disclaimer

Watch for hikers climbing up as this has become a popular cut for the switchback.

This trail is actually called "the last trail" long ago locals named it and some hooligans came and put up a sign "GARBAGE" because the trail was rough. This trail is actually my favorite at Burke with some kick ass jumps through out, they have been recently fixed up.

Well, i ride at burke almost every week and id have to say garbage is my favourite trail at burke, once you know how to hit the drops and the jumps it will become really fun and flowy to you.

After the initial tough drop, this trail is fun with lots of cool jumps and drops. Its really flowy as well.

this is fun trail, though a lot the upper section has been diverted to recycle. garbage is a good alternative for a rainy day though

Be careful on the jump after the log drop. It’s fallen apart due to erosion

Fun trail. Nice challenge for a new rider such as myself. I think intermediate riders would also enjoy as there are a few jumps and some wood features.
