This is a 2-mile section of the overall Genoa Loop. Though the trail is only slightly steeper in some locations, it is the extreme drop-offs and very tight switchbacks that make this section goose bumpy. Excellent views. Horses and bikes not advised. Know your skill level.

Stunning hike. (For all cyclists!!! Be careful, pls, not a lot of room for hikers to pass each other without packs). Falls are flowing. I continued on to finish the loop. Be mindful that there is a walk between the two parking lots on a busy stretch of road.

The switchback here are no joke! If you do this decent, keep your speed in check and take it slow. The switchbacks come up fast and if you over shoot one... you’re going to be tumbling for awhile lol
