A roller coaster (read: pedaly) of a trail. At first I was surprised with the skinny logs in the trial but by the bottom I was excited to ride a few. Fast, loose low angle sections broken up by rock bands you can jump. I wish the front range had more trails like this!

I rode this 10 years ago on a 90's hardtail and hated it. So I decided to give it another shot on a modern FS rig with dropper post and 3.0 tires, and loved it. This is fun winding singletrack with frequent sharp rocky bits and drops. Definitely earns the black diamond.
I rode up DR and down Ginny. DR is "temporarily" open to bikes, and IMO is the only way to go up. You'd have to really love technical climbing to want to climb up Ginny, but it's a big, fun, very technical downhill without being extreme or super steep.
This trail is entirely in the burn zone so there's no shade, and it's eastfacing so it heats up quick in the morning. (Another reason to ride up DR, which is still forested and shady).

The climb up power line is awful but Ginny was actually worth it. Has to be one of the longest technical descents on the front range.
