      PERFECTION! Chef's kiss*
      This trail is gorgeous in scenery, AND mountain bike joy! Fun flowey downhill, fun interesting technical challenges, but all do-able. Imho its the best way back up out of the gorge as well. I often do it as an out n back. I agree with others on thw rating. Not really quite a black diamond. But so fun and fast and interesting!!

      This trail never disappoints. You can hear the river flowing down in the gorge below you. The switchback trail follows the river for a good amount of time as you ride high along the ridge while carefully winding your way down to the river bank. Black rating is likely due to the sheer drop offs if riding out of control.

      I’d call this a blue trail instead of black, just a few techy climbs that are challenging. Super fast, mostly flowy, my favorite trail in Marquette hands down. (Don’t take blind corners too fast, super steep drop offs into the gorge below)
