        What a great way to see monkey face rock! The front side is busy with pedestrians, but the backside was pretty much empty, and you have a great view of Monkey Face Rock from the trail. I’d rate the trail as green. Smooth trails for the most part, but take it slow out of courtesy for the peds and so you can take in all the absolutely amazing views.

        Walked the river portion of this to see if I wanted to bike it. Crowded with people and dogs, not very interesting trail, wuicklu de used to skip it.
