The Halloween Tree Trail can be accessed from the Garlic Festival field at the intersection of Route 9 and Fox Hill Rd, or from the Everett Mansion at Southern VT College. Red trail signs mark the trail. The trail rides well both ways, but there is a pretty steep climbing section in the middle if you ride it North to South. The Northern section of the trail passes by a spooky old growth Maple tree - hence the name
