This trail starts out on a doubletrack ascent traversing up the ridge. Follow the signs to get to the singletrack. The Singletrack trail follows along old road for a bit, then turns away into the woods. The wooded section of trail is techy, rooty, rocky, and challenging, giving it a more difficult (intermediate) rating. The trail has a good balance of climbs, descents and flow sections going in either direction. About halfway through this trail, you can make the choice to exit onto Peregrine Falcon.
Most commonly accessed by taking FS 227 to Mower Basin Trails Access. Parking available at Mower Basin Parking Area; enter trail from Hawks Ridge.
