Hedgehog Ledge trail is a beautiful piece of singletrack that winds through some awesome rock formations. Jump on just after you start on Bear Hill trail, Hedgehog will come in to your right. It starts off fairly tame, with some twisties and some short, punchy climbs and little descents. But through the middle this trail comes alive with massive rocks to behold, challenging rock stairs going both directions (there are bypass trails for the stairs, as they can be scary), and just gorgeous foliage to be seen. Definitely one of the better trails at Bear Brook; if you come out, make sure you get over to Hedgehog Ledge. The history of this area was CCC work done in the Great Depression to build it.

Favorite trail in the park. Ranges from really tight twisty singletrack to technical rocky single track. Really engaging and challenging without being over the top. Besides the stone steps I think this would be more of a heavy blue. Really great trail. A must ride if you are an intermediate or above
