As of 2020 most of the original alignment of this trail was adopted into the official (sanctioned) Guadalupe Perimeter Trail and the below description may no longer fully apply. Note that the Helipad itself and most of the trail leading to it are on private property, which is why it wasn't adopted into the official trail system.
Helipad AKA "Full Pull" is one of the closest things to a "flow trail" on the mountain as far as DH. Yes there is a flat helicopter access pad at the top and end of the trail. Mostly smooth "singletrack" with several opportunities to reach high speeds for the bike. The saddle provides two options a left/right or north/south short and steep finish to the run ending in the valley's wash below. Helipad also makes a good climb and is often the choice for local time trial bragging rights.
This trail is unsanctioned.
