Hosterman Trail is a 3 mile mixed surface trail that traverses Little Mountain from Slavin Hollow Trail in Green Bank to the Greenbrier River in Hosterman. It is a gradual, beginner friendly trail consisting of mostly double track. However, on the Hosterman Suspension Bridge side the is more singletrack and there is often a lot of water on the trail. On the Slavin Hollow end, the trail begins with a mile long, double track descent. The trail can be ridden both ways but the 300' vertical climb on the Slavin Hollow end going southbound will test your will. However, at this end you can access the Allegheny Trail or the Greenbank Observatory Trails.
