Jackalope is a lightly used trail that connects the Cedro area to NM337, only 1/4 mile form the Otero trailhead. Ridden from the recommended Cedro side, the trail begins with roughly a mile of up and down riding along a loose, rocky ridgeline. The final half mile retains the loose and rocky flavor but also gains a dose of gravity. Speeds can be high if you let off the brakes, but be aware there are several gotcha moments, so be aware. The trail ends at NM337. Be patient crossing, as traffic speeds are high. Pedal up the hill 1/4 mile to link up to the Otero Trailhead.

This trail is complete dog crap. Nothing good about it.
      brahhh brahhh
Fun trail that is NOT a horrible baby head nightmare. Actually a really fun DH with some fun rolls , drops, and loose corners. Really cool to take down if you want to bail out. Rode on MTB and it was not a black IMO, more like a hard blue. Agree with the first commenter, however. Would not want to climb up this.

From Cedro peak this starts off pretty easy but gets super rocky and more rocks. Not anything too hard on a motorcycle but it is not fast or flowey. Can't imagine going up it from the road on a mountain bike, it takes lots of throttle on loose rocks for long sections with a moto to get up. Some fun spots.
