Right at the beginning there is a very small HAB section. After that, the trail is very ridable steady grade to the downhill section. The “Jburnt Canyon” downhill section is more technical than Overwatch, and some will find it even more fun. There is a waterfall section similar to the one on Barrel in Saint George, but not as long. The waterfall is rollable but scary the first time you see it, as it comes up quickly. It’s yah I think I can do that vs holy crap I’m not doing that which is what you might say when seeing the drops on Gravity Well or The Punisher. After Jburnt Canyon you head up a small hill to the right; then you are freeriding not a clear path to get you back to the trail that gets you back to Afro Mystic. The gps line will get you back. During warmer months use bug spray for this trail Towards the end of April is when mosquitos start to get bad; just depends how fast it warms up. Ideal trail conditions are mid-October through the beginning of April.
We recommend bug repellant for this trail. Ticks have been found here.
