Classic Rockies ride. This trail provides access to the Jumping Pound Trail and Jumping Pound Ridge Trail. Lots of hikers use this trail, but not as many as use the Ridge trail. If you're headed for Jumpingpound Trail, it's a signed turnoff to the east.

Access Info

Most people take Hwy 1 to Hwy 68 southbound, then make the turn onto Powderface Rd and head to Dawson trailhead. Shuttle or ride south along the Powdergface trail until you get to the Jumping Pound Summit trailhead.

       The Road is still closed, so a road pedal is required. it might open this year, but official opening date is spring 2016
